EAMCET 2011 Tips and Techniques - Part II
Time is limited in this type of examination and speed of response is required. Practicing similar mock tests prior to examinations increases response speed. When the examination paper consists of a large number of small questions it is not feasible or beneficial to read them all at the outset. It would take far too much time. In this case just merely scan all the questions briefly to get over your curiosity as to what type of questions have appeared in the question paper. Begin attempting in serial order. Read the first question carefully. If you are confident about answering it, get cracking.
If the questions contained are not many, then preview the exam making a tick mark against those questions that seem easier (i.e., those questions you think you can answer) and a different mark such as a dot against those you think you might be able to solve. Put a cross mark on questions that are out of your range. Start in a serial order with questions you can answer readily. Don't waste time laboring over difficult questions. During the exam you may try to think out the answer before looking at the given options if you can do it quickly. Doing this will help you find the answer quickly.
If the first question seems a bit difficult then put a pencil dot against it and proceed to the next. Incase the question appears to be totally out of your range then put a tiny cross mark in front of the question number and proceed to the next question. Exams In this manner, get to the end of the question paper. By this time you would have read all the questions and answered those you were confident about. Next recycle through the test. Begin the next round of answering by attempting the questions with a dot mark that you placed earlier Sometimes the answer will occur to you simply because your subconscious mind has had time to consider the answer.
